About Us
We provide an opportunity for 4-H and FFA members to exhibit their livestock projects before the public, fostering a development of excellence in livestock production skills and practices. Junior Livestock youth learn sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship, and responsibility.
Annually, each participant is allowed to sell one animal regardless of the placing of the show. The money the youth earn at the sale helps to fund their higher education goals.

Our Mission
Our Mission is to encourage young men and women to become future farmers and ranchers through educational experiences in livestock production, as well as hold an annual livestock show and sale to benefit youth to advance their higher education.

KCJLA Jr. Director
In 2020, the Kendall County Jr. Livestock Junior Board was created to work alongside the Kendall County Jr. Livestock Directors. The Junior Board members help with assisting the Kendall County Jr. Livestock Directors to have a successful livestock show for the Youth of Kendall County. Being on the Junior Board is a privilege and allows these young individuals to gain leadership experience, become role models for younger exhibitors and further develop communication skills.
